Xplorer & Damen Yachting Return to the Explorer Yachts Summit 2026

Damen Yachting returns as title sponsor of the Explorer Yachts Summit, taking place on 12 November 2026 at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The event provides an opportunity to share our perspective on what truly makes an expedition yacht capable of exploring the world's most remote destinations.

Hosted by BOAT International, the Summit brings together yacht Owners, Captains, designers and industry experts for a day of insightful discussions, interactive panels and inspiring presentations.

Daan Langezaal, Head of Design and Development at Damen Yachting, will join the panel discussion “Explorer overkill: What features do you really need on your expedition yacht?”. Together with fellow industry experts, he will explore how thoughtful design and practical capability can create real value for Owners.

Exploration brought to life

The Summit will also provide the setting for an exclusive preview of LA DATCHA – Legacy of Discovery, a documentary by filmmaker Stein Retzlaff capturing an extraordinary expedition to Svalbard aboard the Xplorer 77 LA DATCHA.

Through the expedition, the film brings to life what explorer yachting is ultimately about: the freedom to reach extraordinary places and experience the world beyond the familiar.
