The esteemed SeaXplorer product line, known for its go-anywhere capabilities and luxurious comfort, will now sail under a streamlined and powerful name that reflects its superyacht roots, Xplorer.
This marks more than just a change in name, it signals Damen Yachting as market leaders, emphasising the core essence of these autonomous superyachts and their ability to dare to be different, broadening the perception of their adventurous spirit. The SeaXplorer name undoubtedly built a strong legacy, becoming recognised for its blend of ruggedness and refinement. While the core DNA of the SeaXplorer range is retained, the Xplorer branding aims to better reflect the forward-thinking nature of these expedition yachts and their Owners”.

The Xplorer Family
The SeaXplorer range was introduced in 2015 with the SeaXplorer 60 being a key part of this series of luxury expedition yachts. The Xplorer 60, as it is now known, directly inherits the design and capabilities of its predecessor. With its Ice Class hull, hybrid power and propulsion, long-range cruising capabilities and the ability to remain autonomous for up to 45 days, huge explorations await. The first Xplorer 60 was launched in March 2025 and is available from Summer 2025.
The Xplorer 80 is the follow up to the original SeaXplorer 77 bringing an updated and next generation 80 meter Xplorer yacht to our continuously evolving diverse yachting product portfolio. “By introducing the Xplorer 80, we have further established our ability to create a perfect crossover superyacht.
